VOLUNTEER INFORMATION

volunteer

The zombies are infecting a city near you. Help us preserve humanity and fight the hordes off undead by volunteering at The Zombie Run! Volunteers are needed for the Zombie Task Force (ZTF) to help with various tasks, such as checking in humans and zombies, passing out swag, assisting on the course, and much more. As a member of our Zombie Task Force you will receive the following

1 – A sweet ZTF t-shirt
2 – Free parking
3 – Special offers for large volunteer groups of 10 or more people
(email us at volunteer@humanmovement.me for information)

4 – Community service hours
5 – The chance to experience the apocalypse up close and personal

Volunteer shifts last 3-4 hours long. Volunteers are more than welcome to help out for multiple shifts.

We can use as many helping hands as possible, so feel free to invite your friends and family members to volunteer alongside you and join in on the zombie fun!

Rules»

No hitting, no biting, no hurting in any way. Zombie contestants are allowed to take the "life flags” of any human contestant. Any physical contact between the undead and the living beyond that is strictly forbidden, unless, of course, by mutual consent.

What to Bring»

What would you bring to the real zombie apocalypse?  Trick question, because you never know where you’ll be when the zombie infestation occurs!  Nevertheless, we recommend that you bring the following to The Zombie Run:
  • your ID
  • running shoes
  • dancing shoes
  • your A-Game
  • a headlamp
  • You should also bring some cash if you would like to donate to our charity on site, check a large item, or buy food, beer, merchandise, or a zombie makeover.
Since this is only a simulated apocalypse, please refrain from bringing any of the following:  weapons (of any kind), dogs, underground survival bunkers, alcohol, illegal substances, or anything below your A-Game.  Bringing anything of these items will result in your expulsion from the premises, and a permanent “infected” status.

Waiver»

Make sure to bring a copy of the waiver signed by you to the race. Click here to get the waiver
